Dance in the Sand ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ

Life has shifted lately in every single area it seems and I ran into a complete road block with the creative juices.

ย

My friends started telling me I was wearing the same outfit everyday. I wasn't, lol...I just wasn't bright anymore.

I am always wearing color and I found myself in grays and blues. For some reason I was gravitating towards those lately.

I randomly found myself at the beach this weekend and while I was so behind I agreed on going as long as I shot at least two new looks.

I walked the beach most of the day, still in lala land AKA my head. We decided to start shooting at Sunset. Thank God because it was extremely hot that day.

The sun was setting and it started to cool down. The sky began to change colors as well. From a far you could here salsa music playing from somewhere.

I was trying to get in the mood of the shoot and so I started dancing to the music...the oddest thing happened after that. I realized I had not danced in years...like soooo many.

There was something so soothing about the soft sand between your toes...it was cool by then. The wind was heavy and the music was going. I havenโ€™t felt that way in years.

There I was dancing in the sand and something changed....I even laughed. I am so grateful I have those friends you make me pull away sometimes.

โ€œSo I encourage everyone to take a break and just go dance in the sand every now and again.โ€
